Rescuers Need Rescue!

In everyday life, play important role rescue services such as fire-fighters, paramedics and police. Rescuers at their work often have to do some difficult activities that takes them in danger, but this problematic is neglected in these services.

Moving the injured and delivering them to a safe place in order to perform medical operations is one of the most important activities in rescue processes. In this case the utilization of stretchers specially in hazardous environments and rugged surfaces, can threat the rescuers with some accidents falling, throwing and obstacles.
The Strebot is a new methodology and tool using robotic technology for rescue assistance in accidents and critical situations, with the aim of improving the efficiency and safety of stretchers.

Strebot, a Flexible and comfort stretcher

Strebot benefit technically from a flexible chassis and a powerful and light weight (8W) movement system, that are suspended one by one. Also, it has a three-pieces bed with actuator links that always are keeping the patient in a horizontal position without any shock during the transportation. With this innovative design it can pass any stony and rugged surfaces. Also climbing stairs, passing ramps, and crossing through winding roads are the other StreBot’s movement abilities.

Useful In Crisis

The Strebot is a powerful and safe tool to accelerating the rescuing and increasing the safety of patient transportation in critical situations. This robotic stretcher helps the rescuer to move the stretcher quickly and safely in variable directions without feeling its weight and worrying about crossing among rugged surfaces. On the other hand, the patient is transported without feeling any shock and impact.
